What Are Elite Sporting Principles?
At YMG, we follow our principles to the letter. From
providing advice to clients and supplying services we offer, to taking our
lunch and toilet breaks, we follow them.
…ok, so maybe not the last two points. But the principle of
this matter concerning our principles remains the same. In case I haven’t made
it clear, this blog is about our principles. More specifically, our Elite
But why ‘elite’? Why ‘sporting’?
Well, lace up your boots and start stretching out your brain
muscles. As I’m about to lead you on a training session all about Elite
Sporting Principles. What they mean, how they came to be, and how they help.
At this point, I’d like it if you could imagine a cheap
sports whistle being blown, please. Thank you.
What Are Elite Sporting Principles?
So, let’s start with the question on everybody’s lips.
Well, think of a Formula 1 car. It doesn’t matter what
colour, you can pick. Now, do the winners of the Grand Prix exist as just a
single driver and the car?
No. They have a team of experts. People that focus on the
tires, people that focus on the fuel, the driver themselves, people that focus
the communications between the driver and the rest of his team. I could go on
with this analogy, but I don’t know that much else about F1.
But here is where the principle lays – to get an F1
champion, there is a team of people. Not just this, but they’re all on the same
wavelength. They all understand and work towards the same goal. They stay in
constant contact with each other throughout the process to make sure they
achieve the best results. Including the driver themselves. This is the same
principle we follow.
Of course, we don’t work with high-powered speed machines,
but the principle remains the same. To achieve the best result, we remain in
constant contact with not only the various departments but also the client.
This regular contact combined with our mentality and skillset creates an elite
end product every time.
Why Elite Sporting Principles?
So, you might be wondering where our ethos of following
Elite Sporting Principles came from?
Well, it starts with the Managing Director of YMG, Nathan
French. Before creating YMG, Nathan was a professional volleyball player.
Playing for clubs all around the world and representing Great Britain at the
London 2012 Olympic Games. During this team, Nathan experienced first-hand the
benefits of Elite Sporting Principles.
When retiring from professional sport and starting up YMG,
Nathan realised that although he was no longer on the court, the principle
remained the same. To create an elite end product, he needed an elite team with
a shared ethos. Thus, YMG and our Elite Sporting Principles were born.
How Do Elite Sporting Principles Help Me?
When using the services of YMG, you’re not hiring a company
to work for you. You gain experts working alongside you and your business.
By following our Elite Sporting Principles, we ensure that
our progress on the project remains above and beyond expectations. We provide
regular contact to ensure you’re kept up-to-date, and to guarantee that the
result is exactly what you require. With a few extra bonuses sprinkled in.
Can you feel that burn in your thigh muscles? That’s the
feeling of being impressed by YMG’s ethos and principles.
Of course, I don’t actually expect you to have a burning sensation in any of your body after reading a blog. If you do, you should consider seeing a doctor. However, if you’ve broken into a sweat after that intense workout, and feel like you want to learn more, be sure to visit the YMG website.
That’s all for now, so hit the showers. You’ve earned it,
